This exceptional Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic w/ Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8 lens is either a New Old Stock kit or a true Mint+; perhaps it was an open display unit at a camera store many years ago. The camera still retains the protective clear plastic film over the bottom plate and appears to never have been handled; exceptionally complete packaging includes the original hard leather camera case in original box, as well as the original box for the camera and lens with Styrofoam inserts still in good condition. See all photos to assess how unusually complete this kit is.
This would be a great gift for the collector in your life -- or for a young person starting out with a first 35mm SLR! The durable and reliable design of this camera makes it a good candidate to take out of storage and put into use.
The Pentax Spotmatic is a manual-focus SLR from the 1960s and 70s. It has a mechanical shutter and uses M42 screw mount lenses.
We photograph every individual camera that we sell. Our photos are part of our listings. Please inspect photos for evidence of cosmetic condition.
This camera's meter requires a button battery, not included. Mercury batteries are no longer made, so you can use a modern replacement such as the Energizer 387S, or a MRB400 or PX400 Wein Cell.
