The Nikon F was a groundbreaking 35mm SLR. These widely-used, extremely durable cameras were made from the tail end of the 1950s (1959) into the mid 1970s. The Nikon F gave birth to subsequent Nikon 35mm SLRs across many decades, finally ending with the discontinuation of the F6 more than 6 decades after the original F was introduced.
This classic F with a plain prism (no meter, but half the weight) is paired with a fast non-Ai 50mm f/1.4 lens. Even these earliest non-Ai lenses can be used selectively with some later Nikon bodies - but always do your research, because the lack of rear aperture ring and protruding metal coupling ("bunny ears") can cause a problem in specific combinations. Non-Ai lenses are a great value and typically sell for less than their Ai and later counterparts.
This Nikon F shows normal signs of use. We photograph every single item that we sell. Check the condition in the photos.
