Nikon S2 with 5cm (50mm) f/1.4 Lens in Box

A rangefinder from the early years, before the Nikon F (their SLR) was on the market.

The S2 was introduced in 1955.  This model has a lever advance instead of the knob that earlier rangefinders in the series used.  Large and bright finder.  Paired with a 50mm 1.4 lens as was typical at the time, this kit includes fun vintage packaging.  This is a solid and affordable entry point into the world of rangefinders.  Please note this is an all-mechanical camera that has no built-in meter.  You may easily use an external meter or a smartphone while shooting.  Top shutter speed is 1/1000th.
