New seals!

The Canonet 28 is a prime fixed lens rangefinder, part of the same family as the slightly better-known Canonet QL17.  The "28" in the name Canonet 28 comes from the bright f/2.8 aperture of the fixed lens.

The Canonet cameras are sometimes known as the "poor man's Leica," and they take excellent, sharp photos at a fraction of the price.  As an added bonus, their bodies are smaller than M-bodies, too -- this is a very lightweight camera and makes an excellent travel camera.

We photograph every individual camera that we sell.  You will receive the camera in the photos.  The metal at the top of the camera between the front of the viewfinder and the rewind knob on this camera has been slightly bent at some point in the past; it is visible in the photos.  It does not affect the visibility of the viewfinder or the accuracy of the rangefinder.
