Rollei 35 (recent CLA) with accessories

The Rollei 35 is a very compact 35mm camera -- for a while, it was the smallest full-frame 35mm camera in the world. 

Set your ISO, aperture, and shutter speed using the slim dials on the front face of the camera (you read them looking down from the top) and use the built-in needle-match light meter if you don't have a handheld meter handy.  The camera uses distance estimation to focus via its sharp, 40mm f/3.5 Tessar lens.  Comes with a UV filter, lens hood, original wrist strap, and original leather pouch.

One of the signature features of this camera is its collapsible lens, which you pull out and lock in place while in use and then collapse again while storing the camera.  There is one correct order of operations for setting the lens, cocking the shutter, and advancing -- before first use, we recommend you consult a manual, which is easy to find online.  If you find that you cannot advance the film, cannot cock the shutter, or cannot collapse the lens, the likely explanation is that you have deviated from the order of operations.

Made in Germany. 

This camera originally took a PX625 battery.  The camera now takes a modern equivalent, not included.  You cannot install or change the battery while film is loaded into the camera because the battery compartment is accessed via the interior of the film chamber.
