Polarizing filters help control how your camera handles nonmetallic reflections -- on panes of glass or on water, for example. They can also boost color saturation and provide more contrast. To use the filter, you rotate the ring at the front and look through the viewfinder, keeping your eye on the reflective surface in the frame. You will see the reflection intensify or fade as you rotate through different positions with the filter. This filter has a filter factor of approximately +1.3 stops; adjust accordingly when metering.
Hasselblad lenses have special mounts for filters. Check your lens to find out if it is Bay 60 or Bay 70.
This same filter can be ordered new from Heliopan for $175. Made in Germany.
We photograph every individual used camera or accessory that we sell; you will receive the exact filter in the photos. Please inspect photos for best information about cosmetic condition.
