Like other late 80s/early 90s plastic-bodied SLRs of its type, its plastic construction belies its capabilities.

This camera will give you the manual, aperture priority, shutter priority, and program exposure modes which were developed throughout earlier decades; it also delivers multiple metering modes which are, as a rule, substantially more sophisticated than what some of those earlier stylish chrome bodies can offer.

Like other Nikon SLRs of its era, it is compatible with a long span of legacy Nikon lenses, including Nikon AF lenses and earlier, manual-focus lenses such as Nikon AI-S lenses.  Always check the specific comparability of a body and lens you wish to pair together.

This camera uses two CR123A (or DL123A) batteries, not included.  Don't forget to put two in your cart!
