Nikon EM with Nikon Series E 50mm f/1.8

The Nikon EM is an aperture-priority auto only camera, meaning it does not have a manual mode.  What you get in return for giving up a manual mode is a streamlined, pared-down camera that isn't cluttered with dials and is physically small and comfortable to hold.  This is a "pick it up and go" camera for on-the-move shooting.  Originally intended for casual photographers who didn't necessarily want to fiddle with settings for every shot, it now has appeal for photographers who love the look of film and the control of manual focus on a good lens, but want some point-and-shoot ease.  The camera does have a backlight compensation button and a bulb setting.

This kit includes a 50mm lens (the Series E lens is a "pancake" 50mm, appropriate for this streamlined experience).

This camera takes an A544 6V battery, not included.  This battery is the replacement for the PX28.  Don't forget to put one in your cart!  Note that this battery is inserted in an unusual place, under the mirror.
